Community Pool
Built in 1984, from a design created by community owners, the pool is a center of activity from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year. A pool pass is required for entrance. There is a hot tub (non-jetted) located on the upper level. There is no lifeguard on duty. Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult. The Barn
Located near the entrance to CMA, The Barn serves as a welcoming fixture in the community.
Tennis & Multisport Courts
Members and guests are welcome to use the tennis court and the multi-sport court, located near the Barn. The courts are currently in need of repairs, and two tennis courts are noted as off limits. Members and guests use the courts at their own risk. The courts are open from dawn to dusk – they do not have lights. Users are requested to close the gates when leaving.
Hiking Trails
Coolfont has several hiking trails within the community. The White Trail originates around Dogwood Lane and heads west, up the mountainside. The Blue Trail, a bit steeper, joins the North Prospect Rock Trail from Cacapon State Park. Printed trail maps are available at the community entrance gazebo or download the Community Map and Trail Guide. Trails are maintained by member volunteers.
