Morgan County real estate taxes, fire fee, and ambulance fee can be paid starting Monday, July 15. If you pay early, you can save a few bucks (about 2.5%). You can look up your taxes online. You have to look up each of the three taxes separately. You can also pay online, but there is a fee to do so (save more, mail a check). For new folks – yes, you pay these through the Sheriff’s office.

For those with a mortgage, often your real estate taxes are paid from your escrow account – but the fire/amb fees may not – depends on your mortgage servicer.
Savings: If you pay your full year fire fee and ambulance fee now, you pay $155.98 – vs $160 if you pay after the beginning of September.
